The Peak has named Nexus Founding Partner Brett Thalmann one of its 2025 Emerging Leaders. The list celebrates rising Canadian professionals making a significant impact on Canada's economy, culture, and society.

This award recognizes Brett’s role as a seasoned political advisor, strategist, and community organizer with over 20 years of experience across all levels of government. He recently spent more than seven years in the Prime Minister's Office, serving in a senior leadership role as Executive Director of Planning, Administration and People. 

As a founding partner of Nexus Strategic Consultants, a boutique strategy and government relations firm, Brett works with tech-companies, scale-ups, non-profits supporting advocacy and engagement strategies with the broader public sector.
