André Andreolli Capaldi is the founder and principal of spada strategies, an international consultancy delivering revenue growth and engagement strategies for nonprofits, philanthropic initiatives, and mission-driven businesses. For over a decade, André has built a career at the intersection of public policy, capacity building, and strategic communications. He served as a senior advisor to Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland and held key roles in the Ontario Ministry of Finance under Deputy Premier Dwight Duncan. His public sector experience spans the Ministries of Finance, Foreign Affairs, Intergovernmental Affairs, and International Trade — providing a strong foundation for aligning public priorities with philanthropic and business goals.

André has led transformative campaigns across Canada’s cultural and civic sectors, securing and stewarding major investments from corporate, foundation, and government partners — including a $1 million partnership with the Nordic Council of Ministers. He has directed major fundraising efforts for national cultural institutions and for Pride Toronto, one of the world’s largest 2SLGBTQI+ festivals.
