Kevin Walton

Kevin brings 20 years of corporate development and operations experience in fintech, proptech, and data analytics, with deep expertise in the residential real estate and mortgage sectors.

As a founding team member at Real Matters, Kevin helped scale the company from startup to a profitable $1B market cap TSX-listed entity. He led corporate development initiatives including organic US market entry and eight strategic acquisitions totaling over $175M. His executive roles spanned VP of Operations, divisional leadership, interim COO, and enterprise data analytics.

Before Real Matters, Kevin developed corporate development capabilities at Brookfield Property Services, creating one of Canada's first insured analytics-based property valuation products for major lenders. He also invested in tech firms at CIBC Capital Partners.

Kevin specializes in helping companies develop growth strategies through organic expansion and M&A. He actively advises fintech firms on go-to-market strategies and fundraising, makes angel investments, and counsels private equity and venture capital funds.
