Calla Lee

Calla Lee, a co-founder of Method Collective and Space for Grief, is an interdisciplinary creative, designer, researcher, and visual communicator who uses an intersection of art, data, and storytelling to understand how people and systems relate, overlap, and interact.

Through co-design and collaboration, she seeks to create interesting and provocative spaces and conversations that engage people’s curiosity and encourage systems change for the future. Her cross-sector work between public, private, and not-for-profit sectors includes facilitating and visualizing theories of change with the UN Sustainable Development Group, to developing incubator and accelerator entrepreneurship programs, and evaluating provincial initiatives with the City of Toronto. Building on her design career, Calla is also an adept video producer, food stylist, and consultant for food and beverage businesses.
