Sumi Shanmuganathan

Sumi Shanmuganathan is a seasoned marketing and communications strategist, entrepreneur, former senior political advisor and candidate with over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, change management, business development, marketing, and communications. She is the Founder and CEO of PredictEdge, an AI-powered platform transforming how campaigns and causes engage, retain, and mobilize their audiences through ethical intelligence and predictive analytics.

She is also the Founder and Principal of Niche Strategies, a boutique marketing and communications agency with teams in Toronto, Bermuda, and London, and the Co-Founder of Dunya Habitats, a mission-driven agritech startup advancing sustainable indoor farming and local food systems.

Most recently, Sumi was the Associate Vice-President of Marketing and Communications at George Brown College, where she led major digital transformation and brand initiatives. Her career spans work with Fortune 500 companies like Microsoft, early-stage startups, and nonprofits such as UNHCR, Arthritis Society of Canada and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
