An experienced C-suite executive in international business development, venture capital, fund management, management consulting and operations. He served as a senior diplomat for Canada in Korea, Japan, Singapore and APEC, with extensive responsibilities in trade policy, trade and development economics and international relations. He was responsible for the organization of three APEC Leaders and Ministerial Meetings for Canada under then PM Jean Chretien, serving concurrently as Canada’s representative to the APEC Budget and Administration Committee and as Canadian Deputy Chair of the APEC Economic Committee and Canada’s representative to PECC and PBEC. He has extensive experience in trade policy, including serving as Canadian Chair to the Trilateral Committee on Forest Products with Japan and the U.S.

He has successfully led and mentored high talent, interdisciplinary teams in both government and industry, in areas as diverse as trade development, biotech and photonics. He served as Sr VP IT for Transpac Capital, and as COO of Merlion Pharma, the privatised drug discovery joint venture of the Singapore Government and GSK. He presently leads Greentech Asia Pte Ltd, a Singapore and Canada-based consulting company specializing in economic development, market entry, government policy and strategic advisory services, with clients in government, international organizations, MNC’s and SME’s.

David Wynne

An experienced C-suite executive in international business development, venture capital, fund management, management consulting and operations. He concurrently serves as Advisor and Limited Partner in Raiven Capital, one of Canada’s top fifty early-stage venture capital funds and on various tech Boards, and Sr. Advisor to two Indonesia-based Consulting Groups. He has served on the Executive Committee of the Singapore Venture Capital Association, the Executive Council of the Singapore Biotech Association ‘BioSingapore’ as a founding member. He recently completed a term as Chairman of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, following two years as President.

He is a Canadian citizen, Singapore PR and spends his time between Singapore and Canada.
